Post – IGCSE Academic Retreat to the South Coast

We are excited to announce a special Post-IGCSE Academic Trip to Kenya’s breathtaking South Coast, exclusively organized for the May/June 2025 IGCSE/IB candidates. This five-day educational retreat will be held at the stunning Jacaranda Beach Resort in Diani from July 3rd to 7th, 2025. Learners in IGCSE, A/As level, IB diploma candidates, and pre-candidates are invited to attend this career retreat.
This experience is more than a celebratory getaway—it is thoughtfully designed to help students reflect, recharge, and refocus as they transition from exams to the next phase of their academic and personal development. The resort has partnered with us to provide full-board accommodation, ensuring our students enjoy a comfortable and secure environment.
Why This Trip Matters
- Career Mentorship & Coaching
Many students complete their IGCSE/IB exams, uncertain about the direction to take next. This trip aims to inspire and inform, helping learners explore a range of career paths and academic opportunities available to them. Students will participate in interactive panel sessions and workshops led by university placement and career coaches from Navitas Kenya and Oshwal College.
These sessions are designed to provide:
- Exposure to global career and academic options
- Personalized mentorship
- Transparent, up-to-date guidance on higher education pathways
- Support with choosing the right course, university, and transition abroad
This is a unique opportunity for our aspiring scholars to receive expert advice and start planning for top universities and careers around the world.
- 2. Academic Progression Pathways
Beyond IGCSE/IB students have a wide range of academic pathways to choose from, including A Levels, Foundation Diplomas, and the International Baccalaureate (IB-Diploma) program. Gaining an early understanding of these options reduces indecision and empowers students to commit confidently to their future goals. To support this, our program includes informative sessions with representatives from the following pathways:
- International Foundation Diploma (IFD)
- British A Level Program (AS/A2)
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
- Edexcel BTEC Program
These sessions will offer in-depth insights into each academic route, helping students discover which option best matches their strengths, interests, and long-term aspirations. These world-renowned pre-university courses provide diverse entry points into university education, alongside other vocational and pre-vocational options. No learner should be left to chance—clarity of mind and purpose is the true foundation of success. We believe this trip will be a pivotal experience that builds confidence, inspires direction, and lays the groundwork for academic and professional excellence.
To blend learning with fun, we have curated a selection of enriching field activities set in the stunning coastal environment:
